If you are looking for thermal transfer ribbons – 110mm x 300 meters the most economical option include the resin-enhanced wax variants. They are perfect for less intensive uses like labels for retail POS and shipping. They require much lower melting temperature and consequently produce lighter colored print output.
Ribbons for heavy duty applications
The other more expensive option is the durable wax-resin ribbon which can withstand extreme environment such as those in industrial refrigerators and freezers. They can also withstand heavy duty cargo handling environments as they have been designed to withstand scratches, abrasion, and exposure to moisture.
